A Week in Cabo San Lucas {Personal} ~Waco Portrait Photographer/Travel, Mexico

This past month my husband and I had the priviledge of joinging 6 of our dear friends for an amazing week in Cabo San Lucas! We had a great week and stayed in the most beautiful villa that left us longing for more time! It was a fabulous trip and I wanted to share some of my favorite photos here. There were 4 couples total (including my husband and myself) so I did 10 minute mini sessions on the beach with my friends to commemorate this special time, here are my faves! xo 001xweb 009xweb

An afternoon at the Triple AAA Ranch ~ West Family Photographer

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE when a client calls me and tells me that they want to have a session at home, it is so personal and I love capturing their real lives. I drove out to West, Texas to photograph this sweet family of three in their new home, loved it! A, A, and A, thank you for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture your life as it is right now, such a treat! xo

Just a day at home with 2 little boys ~ Waco Family Photographer ~ Travel Session/ Gig Harbor, WA

This is the second time this sweet family has had me out to their lovely home to photograph them, and this time, little Charlie was part of the gang! Linds and Chris, is it cool with you and if keep my fingers crossed for a #3? :)

Color or black and white? I can't decide!

More Thoughts on Canvas

I talked a while ago about how much I love canvas prints, while I was in Seattle last month I snapped some photos of my clients wall from our session last year. I love how Nicolle put 2 canvas prints side by side, the one on the left is a 20x16 and the one on the right is a 16x20, so cool!! If you would like to order a canvas print from your session with me, let me know the size(s) and I'll make it happen! xo

MIA/Out of the Office ~ 6/30-8/15

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to touch base to say that I will be out of the office from June 30th-August 15th. I will be checking email but if I'm slow to respond, that's why! If you would like to book a session with me and you live in Waco, TX (or surrounding areas) please know that I am scheduling sessions for August 15th and later. If you live in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR and would like to book a session, please check my travel dates on my website and shoot me an email. Thanks everyone! xo

Sneak Peek from a California session, more to come!

Canvas Prints

I LOVE when clients order canvas prints for their homes! I have several canvases around my own house, I think they make such a statement. I often don't get to see the final product when clients order canvas, because I travel for work I often have  the canvases shipped directly to my clients homes and I'm always left wondering how they turned out! This local  family ordered a 24x36 canvas for their living room so before I delivered it I snapped a few photos so you could see the detail of the canvas should you consider ordering some for your own home. I always tell my clients, canvas is expensive, it is definitely an investment but you need to look at it as art for your home, you will have it for many years to come and what better to look at every day than photos of your loved ones? I treasure my canvases and am proud to offer such a high quality product to my clients. Each canvas comes with a closed backing, 1.5 inch border, with the hanging hardware already included. I can order any size, but unless you are doing a cluster of canvases I recommend not ordering smaller than a 20x24. Canvas prints start at $365, please contact me for more detailed pricing on larger sizes.

Sippel Family~ Mini session, Waco Family Photographer

I have mentioned before how I have a love/hate relationship with facebook, its so nice to connect with old friends after many years, but man alive it can be such a waste of time too! Well, today I'm super thankful for facebook because it allowed me to see a friend from my summer camp days! I hadn't seen Erin in 15+ years but it was like I just saw her yesterday! Her family drove up from Houston and stopped by Waco on their way out of town for a mini session with me, I was so honored! This family is beautiful inside and out and I'm so thankful I was the one to capture this moment in time for them. Thanks Sippels! xo

Jen @ 28 weeks ~ Seattle Maternity Photographer

While I was in Seattle a couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing one of my oldest and bestest friends who is pregnant with her first child. I love this gal and I already love her little sweet pea and can't wait to meet him. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating with us on this day so we were quite limited in what we had to work with. It was pouring.down.rain. and the light disappeared quickly that day. So, we worked with what we had and I think we got some good stuff. Love you to the moon sweet friend, counting the days until your little man arrives!! xo
